FLOOFY FRIDAY SLEEK & SILKY SHORTHAIR (due to popular opinion in the comments!)
Do you see that booboo on my face (just like my lovely friend Parker’s) where my whiskers grow? Alfie did that ‘cos I pestered him (I kept sniffing his stitches) last night (that little tyke is going to be in so much trouble when he’s feeling better). I guess now he’s had his nuts removed he’s a nearly mancat and I’m going to have to treat him wiv a lot more respect from now on. Drat! Still it was good being bossy while it lasted. I hope da booboo doesn’t spoil my Friday floofiness. I’ve never been in Floofy Friday before ‘cos I’m not very floofy as a domestic short hair – but I thort I’d give it a go.

Compare Parker’s booboo … (although she still looks very pretty)
Has anyone else got a booboo? (I tuned the booboo pink cos Parker has a pink bloggie) and she had one first!
Meanwhile, Alfie is feeling better. This morning he had turned back into a purr machine and Mom is relieved. He hasn’t even been licking his stitches much … although he sits down quite gingerly at the moment. He sort of lowers his bum VERY slowly on to the floor (tee hee) … whereas usually he does everything at the speed of light. He asked me to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone for sending him such lovely messages whilst he was enduring his hoo-ha-ectomy yesterday. He said it helped a lot knowing you all cared.
Do you think he is floofy enuff to take part in Floofy Friday? You judge … here is playing wiv his toys this morning:

PS: The VET said that Alfie’s eyes were looking better and he doesn’t want to give him any more treatment at the moment, unless the infection flairs back up.

I don’t know if he’s floofy enough for Floofy Friday, but I think he qualifies for Foxy Friday!
That was not nice of Alfie, operation or not. But we’re glad to know he’s alright!
Not sure about Floofy Friday, but Cute, uh, everyday!
I told Alfie he wasn’t floofy enuff to be in Floofy Friday but he insisted. He said Mom calls him her “floofly little soldier” – so he must be floofy. P’raps he could be an honoury guest in this week’s Floofy Friday?
Love Milo xx
Sorry Milo but it’s just not a good idea to sniff Alfie’s stitches. He would have been a bit sore and he doesn’t want your nose stuck in there. We are glad his purr machine is working again.
Awwww, you have a boo-boo too! I am sorry! Maybe we can plan our revenge together!
Poor Milo, we are sure you only wanted to help Alfie. Glad the mighty purr returned. Mmmh, now with the floof, we see a bit of floofyness around your belly parts, but let’s wait and see what you look like with your Summer fur to really judge if you qualify… ; )
Purrs, Siena & Chilli
Milo and Parker have matching booboos!! We still think you are so very handsome, even with the booboo!!
We are very glad to hear Alfie is returning to normal!
Hope you both have a great weekend!
We’re glad to know Alfie is recovering so well.
We’re short haired divas, but we shed with the best of them. Perhaps we could come up with a special day for short haired kitties? Just a thought…
Have a great weekend!
Hi Milo. Sorry you have a booboo, but…you really need to keep your nose away from Alfie’s stitches! Sylvie has a booboo on her tail (actually four booboos!) and Meowmy is wondering whether to post a picture or not ’cause it’s kinda gross with a piece of bloody surgical gauze sticking out of the middle of it! It’s great that Alfie’s purring machine is working again. We’re sorry, we don’t think either of you is really floofy…but you could easily compete in the Sleek and Silky Shorthair category!! Meowmy calls Louie her little mink ’cause his black fur is so silky and shiny, and you both look mink-like as well.
Milo, guess sticking your nose into Alfie’s private area wasn’t a great idea, was it?? Hope you booboo heals fast! As far as floofy…we think floofy is a relative thing…so if you wanna be floofy, you are!
Have a great day, you two!
I hope your Booboo gets better. I guess I am too fast. I have not had such a problem…
Yes, Alfie should take part in Floofy Friday! Give that guy anything he wants for the next few weeks because of his Hoo -ha-ectomy!
Fluff is all about attitude. You either have it or you don’t. We think you gots plenty of fluff attitude.
I’m glad Alfie’s eyes are better! Poor Milo, I see your boo-boo. I think many kisses and treats will help it heal up real fast.
Alfie I hopes you has a good weekend snuggling and feel better soon. Milo your Boo-boo just needs a few kisses.
Alfie, glad you are doing OK.
I will share some floof so you can be official like. Take care of your boo boo
