We received a lovely package in the post today from the Pawit Forward exchange. We were lucky enough to be one of the first three people to leave a comment on the Quiltcat blog post about Pawit Forward – then Paula and Sylvie, Louie, Fuzzy and Gingy e-mailed us to tell us the good news that we were going to get a Pawit Forward present! And then today we received a lovely surprise package through the post all the way from America to our little seaside town of Sidmouth in Devon, England.
In the package was a dee-luxe refillable catnip Boogie Mat to share (which is something we’ve wanted for simply ages) and there was even a vishus (organic catnip) squirrel which Alfie claimed as his immediately. There was also a Zoom Groom brush (which Alfie adores ‘cos he loves being brushed), and even some Natural Temptashuns (wiv added vitamins and minerals) which we both really love. And as if that wasn’t enuff there was also a beautiful hand made card, and two lovely fridge magnets (wiv cute little bears on them) for Mom. But the best bit of all was that it all came in a lovely cardboard box that smelt of catnip and our furry friends! We can’t thank Paula and Sylvie, Louie, Fuzzy and Gingy enuff – it was a lovely box of gifties!
Here I am trying the box out for size:

Meanwhile Alfie tried to deaded the vishus squirrel but it was still in the wrapper – and he made a right fuss when Mom took it off him briefly to unwrap it!
Here is the vishus squirrel being deaded by Alfie, after it was unwrapped:

He gave it impressive bunny kicks …

And he chewed it hard – ‘cos he’s a furoshus kitten when it comes to vishus squirrel!

I got a bit “smacky” while this was going on … but managed to get away wiv it (tee hee!) … evidence below:
Of course, I claimed first go on the Boogie Mat … ‘cos I’m the biggest …

I love that Boogie Mat SO much … meanwhile Alfie tried the box out for size …
But I loved the Boogie mat so much that it got me into trubble- ‘cos when Alfie wanted to have a go on it I got all possessive and norty – and a scrap broke out. Mom had to stop filming and everything … just to rescue Alfie and then I got told off BIG TIME for being mean. I couldn’t help it … I just got over-excited and forgot myself. I don’t usually scrap wiv Alfie and make him squeal … no really, I don’t!
WARNING - not suitable for young kittens to watch (‘cos I’m very norty!)
So then … Mom MADE ME let Alfie have a go on da Boogie Mat, so I sulked.
So then Mom banished me to the roof of den (the norty step) for 5 whole minutes so I could calm down … so I had a good look at the purple Zoom Groom (which is really nice ) to help pass the time …
Then, when I was allowed off the norty step, I got back in the box straight away! (Can you see I still look cross for being told off and for having to go on the norty step for 5 whole minutes?

But then Mom forgave me, and Alfie and I were given some Temptashuns which were yummy!
Anyway, THANK YOU to Paula, and Sylvie, Louie, Fuzzy, and Gingy for the best Pawit Forward giftie box ever!
If you’ve never heard of this exchange scheme, here’s what Pawit Forward is all about:
=^..^=
“The exchange focuses on doing an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and ‘pay it forward’ in their own way”.
This is how it works…
You send something fun, inspiring or uplifting to a blog owner who posts a comment regularly on your blog. The receiver, in turn, then posts about this on their blog, links back to you, and then sends something to a regular visitor to their blog.
There are no cost restraints, BUT don’t go crazy! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found. No biggie, just a gift that will make the person smile. Maybe something unique from where you live?
And, remember that kindness doesn’t have to involve money; there are untold ways to help others every single day, everywhere you go – just look around.”
SO PAWIT FORWARD…
We sent our Pawit Forward package to Harry’s Mom (Melanie)‘cos she’s not been well and we thought it would cheer her up. We didn’t wait until we got our package – we did it right away as soon as we’d received the e-mail from Paula. We hafta admit we changed the rules slightly too, because Mom said it was OK to do that – (the original rules said send to 3 – but Mom said times are hard so we changed the rules to send to one speshull person).
Our other 2 “pawit forward” gifts were acts of kindness that Mom did for others. She said they made her feel nice inside.

Very nice. But the best thing of all is that great box!
Boy was that a box full of fun!! You guys got some really great stuff there and a box too! The boogie mats are great, but cause a few scuffles in our house too
Enjoy your great stuff Milo and Alfie! Pawit Forward sounds like so much fun. We participated in Swap N Tails for the first time this month.
Hi Guys! We’re so glad your Paw It Forward box arrived! we saw afterwards that Meowmy made a mistake on the Customs form and didn’t list all the items and she was afraid it was going to be delayed in Customs. We’re sorry there was only one boogie mat…the Petco store AND her regular mail order place both ran out and she figured you two could share (hah hah!). It’s wonderful to see you having so much fun with the vishus squirrel, the boogie mat, and of course the box, which received extra speshul attention from us!
your friends,
Sylvie, Louie, Fuzzy, Gingy (and Paula, too)
Whoa! Look at all that loot! I do not blame you for getting a little smacky over it. Sometimes a kitty cannot help getting a little overexcited. Anyway, we wrestle real rough like that all the time. Even though my Mommie breaks it up, too.
It’s just like Christmas!
What a great package that is!
That was a great package with the nippy squirrel and boogie mat.
Flynn: I get very excited too when there is nip about, and then I start whapping Eric.
Wow! That’s some fun stuff you both got! We love love love our Boogie Mats and we can see you’re gonna love yours too…to the point of fighting over it! The catnip made you do it!!! And that nip squirrel…Alfie you made mincemeat out of it!!! Good job!
I’m thinking we may have more fun watching you than you did playing…oh well maybe not!!!
What a haul!!

That was a nice paw it forward box. We understand why the smackyness happened, it’s easy to get excited about loot like that.
We got it too!!!! Such a wonderful box. We’ll blog about it later today. You look very happy. So were we (and still is).
