Dad still has a poorly eye at the moment (he may hafta have more laser beams) so Alfie and I spend as much time as we can helping him out. We make ourselves available and at the ready as much as pawsible ~ so if he needs us, we’re on standby. There is an added benefit in that Dad’s desk is made of (safety) glass ~ so on a nice Summer day when we’ve got the hots, it feels ice cold cool. It brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “being helpful is a cool thing to do!” Tee hee.

Work is a four letter word. Just sayin’. It’s good that you help your dad out though. I don’t know what he’d do without you.
We can see how helpful you both are. Your dad’s desk is very tidy. Our mum’s is tidy like that too on top, but there are shelves underneath and that is a whole different kettle of fish.

Our mom said she couldn’t do any work either with such adorable kitty boys on her desk (not that there is room for us on HER desk in the first place. We’re impressed by your dad’s big clean desk!) And you two are nice not to lie right on top of the mouse pad!

It’s a good thing there’s so much room on your daddy’s desk for the both of you! Our Mommy’s desk only really has enough room for one at a time to lay down, but 3 of us can sit at a time (especially if she’s eating and we’re begging for food, even though she never gives us any *pout*). But there’s another desk to the side so another one could lay there.
We’re sorry to hear that the daddy’s eye still isn’t doing too well and hope it gets better soon. Sending him our purrs!
