Hi Efurrybuddy,
My little bruvfur Alfie’s favoritist toy in the whole Werld is the set of springs that my beautiful gerlfrend Dommy sent us. They were supposed to be to share but he has hogged them all for himself. He just plays and plays wiv them EVERY single day, over and over again. He LOVES them. The trubble is he keeps losing them!
So every morning when we are all awake, we hafta do a spring hunt ~ that is we all hafta search the howse top to bottom for the springs ~ so Alfie can lose them all over again (‘cos otherwise he sits looking at us all wiv big mournful eyes and mopes abowt until we feel guilty). It’s like Groundhog day! We find them under cupboards, tables, beds, in the barf-room, in the toybox, even in shoes ~ yoo name it, we find ‘em there. And does Alfie help us? Noooooo! He sits guarding them until we’ve found every last one. Then he loses them all over again. :sigh: But they make him so happy that we haven’t got the heart to say, NO, find ‘em yerself! He is my baby bruvfur after all.

Do yoo have a Groundhog event each day in yoor howse?
Love Milo xx

Ah. Alfie has mastered the art of being a cat. Congratulations Alfie.
We still have a lot to learn. Once in a while Photoguy collect some of our toys and gives them to us. But usually we have to find them back ourselves. The plus side is: every day can be like christmas that way.
Who could resist that face? We’re glad you and your Mom help Alfie get his toy back every day!!

How sweet of you all to find Alfie’s springs for him. I’m sure he appreciates it very much!
Dommy is just so gratified that Alfie loves those springs so very much! It must be hard to find every single one, every day. I bet he finds some really good hiding places you haven’t found yet.
I guess with us, our Groundhog’s Day thing is the squirrel chases. Every day it seems to be the same thing, though the kitties all love it. And the squirrels, too, I think.
We’re always losing our toys…under stuff, in stuff, you name it! We don’t have any of those springy toys yet…maybe Santa Paws will bring us some so we can lose those too!
Those springs sound very promising, but mom claims she never saw them here. Alfie is a lucky guy! Our repeating event is that every day when mom cleaned our litter box Siena knows she’s going to open the terrace door to go to the big bin. So she rushes to the door and wants out too.
Kind of think going on the hunt each morning puts a little spring in your step to start the day.
Lola is the very same with her fluffy mice!
I bet I would like springs but I have never gotten them. How fun! I think it is always good to guard your favorite toy.
We do have to hunt for our toys, mostly the ones my momma Ellie likes. She is constantly whapping them under the stove and the couch. Mom swears we have at least a dozen little soccer balls in the house, but we can only find 1 or 2 right now. Time for another hunt!
Aw you are a good big bruvver.. I bet Alfie loves you so much, even if he says different.. Hugs GJ x
Around here, when we lose stuff, it tends to stay lost. We moved to this house three years ago, and when my human packed up everything from the old house, she found so many cat toys, it was like our birthdays and Chrissmouse all rolled into one!
OMC OMC OMC!!! We have those springs too and they are the BEST!!! (now if only we could find them!)
You are very thoughtful to help look for the springs for Alfie.
Our groundhog day is when Eric sits outdoors by the window waiting for mum to let him in through it, then he goes back out through the cat flap and comes back round to the window again looking sad until mum opens it for him yet again.
Hey Alfie!
I gots a pink spring just like that. I loves, loves, loves it. I found under something, The ladybean said she hadn’t seen in in a long time, it used to belong to the kitty that came before.
I wonder where is is now ….. I gots ta go look!
See you soon,
Milton
We have that problem with most of our toys, but they usually end up in the same spot so they’re easy to find!
Our nightime routine is like Groundhog Day. I’ll do a post about it soon!
The only morning hunt in my townhouse is for the keys. Stupid humans can’t remember where they put ANYTHING.
mew!

Toy mousies under the range day after day after day…..
We have some long skinny springs a lot like those! Harley usually rolls them under stuff on purpose!
