Cat-O-Lympics: Bare Paw Fighting!

Well the BIG day is here!   Today is the start of our Bare Paw Fighting event as part of the Cat-O-Lympics being held by Fin at Housecat Confidential  .  If yoo’d like to enter please read the rules HERE.  Then enter the URL for yoor Bare Paw Fighting entry post in Mr Linky below:

 

We wanted to join in the fun so we’re showing our own fighting photo BUT we wont be considering ourselves for a medal.  Winners will be selected the weekend of the 20/21 st of February and announced on Monday 22nd February, when medals will be awarded.  (Yoo don’t hafta do any fancy photoshop stuff unless yoo want too ~ good old original photos or videos of a smackdown between siblings or enemies,  are just fine!  OK?)

Commentator: 

The Champ Milo-Smack-’em-Marshall is entering the ring; he seems in good shape to defend his title once again.  Just behind him is Alfie -tuffer-than-I-look-Marshall, another great boxing legend who is the challenger today.  Our esteemed referee, Rocky-Smacker, pauses and acknowledges the applause as the watching crowd go wild (he was a boxer himself in the 1990s and did an awful lot for the sport in his own country).  Some of the audience will have paid  many $ or £ for the privilege of seeing this boy get beaten up.  And there’s the bell.

DING

And a left and a right, and a right jab that’s smacked the Champ’s shoulder. And here’s the  challenger Alfie again with a right and another left and a terrific smack that lands right on the Champ’s body.  The action is swift and fast.  Certainly those who paid their hard earned dollars or pounds for those ringside seats are really getting their money’s worth. 

Milo smacks back!  And with a left, and a right, then a fearsome left jab, he evens up the score.  With every punch he speaks volumes.

One camp says Milo is a great fighter, perhaps the best. The other side argues that he is protected and his success manufactured. That is what makes tonight’s bout with Alfie so intriguing. Milo’s legacy can suffer a huge setback with a loss, but it will achieve even greater heights with a win.  And there’s the bell.
