The scene:  A dark night, on a Pirate’s vessel,  moored just a stone’s throw from the Caribbean sea shore …  the beginnings of a storm threatens owtside … and the air hangs heavy wiv the smell of fear n’ fish …  Toona acshually …

Narrator:  Arrrrr, me hearties! Gather ye roun’, for this here’s a swashbuckle worth the seein’ – betwixt a pair of equally matched, vishus, seafarin’,  swashbucklin’, scurvy rascal alley-cats! Aye, an’ all ’pon a Caribbean beach, lapped by danjerus shark-infested waters. 

Ferst o’ all, let us introduce you t’ the offishull crew of our  vessel (The Evil Ship Bucaneer-Bad-Whiskers)  the vishus scurvy dogs ducks :

Our story begins one dark stormy day.   Capt’n Milo-Slappy, were stridin’ the poop-decks wi’ t’ good salt breeze awash in his nostrils. 

When suddenly,  he realised treachery were apaw …  Bos’n Alfie-Baddy-Bum was seen eating the left-overs in Capt’n Milo-Slappy’s dish!   Wot treachery!  Wot greed!  Wot a cheek!!!!    I’ll get ‘im, he swore.

So afore Bos’n Alfie-Baddy-Bum could holler “Avast!”,  Capt’n Milo-Slappy challenged him to some swashbucklin’, ’gainst both will an’ common decency.

An’ a’tho unfortunate grey sailor boy were precious little equipped for the facin’ o’ it ~ he was no coward!  That fresh-faced alley-cat knew he was for t’ plank if he failed the swashbucklin’!   so despite the fear of t’ wicked degradation that might ensue …  he swashed his buckles …  and prepared to fight Capt’n Milo-Slappy.

Wud our grey boy find Lady Luck a-scowlin’ wi’ malicious intent ~ or wud she b’ on his side?  He might gain fortune an’ wealth beyond all feline imaginin’  ~ or he might suffer the gross indignity o’ havin’ t’ walk t’ plank, followed by sufferin’ below the poop-decks ~ ’twould be shameful. 

They stepped ashore ….  and our grey boy bravely faced Capt’n Milo-Slappy, and they drew their fearsum weapons …

Milo: Take that! (thwack!)

Alfie: And that! (kapow!)

Milo: Yoo scurvy rascal!

BUT suddenely a storm o’ such ferocity broke, that all hopeful thought seemed but futility itsel’.  They r’lised that  they needed to pull togevver or their vessel might sink wiv owt trace.  They downed their weapons, leapt aboard, and start’d t’ bail owt their vessel,  The Evil Ship Bucaneer-Bad-Whiskers.  They scooped, and they bailed, and they pumped …

BUT they fear’d that ALL the bailin’ an’ pumpin’ they could muster, wudn’t b’ insufficient to the task. Surely scores o’ lives would be lost, wi’ silent corpses descendin’ to the gloom o’ Davey Jones’s icy locker?

BUT then, just when all was thought lost …. there came a cry … a call … an echo from time’s gone by …

  

MOM:    BOYS, SUPPER IS READY!

Milo:  Mom, yoo’re spoiling our adventure story! Oh well, we’ll finish it anovver day. Wot’s for supper? Is it Toona?

Alfie:  I’m gonna eat mine ALL up, an’ then I’m gonna eat yoor left-overs Milo!  ‘Cos I’m a scurvy vishus Pirate-Cat wiv a HUGE appetite!  An’ I’m BAD!  I’m Bos’n Alfie-Baddy-Bum!

Milo:   :sigh:
