Mom is a great fan of the very talented contemporary artist David Hockney and she particularly likes the painting he did entitled: Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy (not only is it just fabulous but it has a cat in it too!) She wrote about it here. Well, since I’m holding an Arty Farty Week, she thought it would be fun to resurrect a photograph she took last year and with a bit of digital tinkering put me in it! When she originally created this image it had Henry in it, her beloved Siamese cat (1985 – 2004) who had died 3 years previously but had been digitally pasted into the photograph. When she took this photo she put the camera on a tripod and set the timer and then her and Dad dashed into position. She said they had a lot of fun and couldn’t stop laughing. And because they missed Henry so much they chose to insert him in the photo rather than borrow a cat for the photo-shoot! Of course they didn’t have me then! Below is the result – and I’ve also posted the original version of the painting, in case you’re not familiar with it. I wish I could have met Henry – we would have liked each other – and Mom said he wouldn’t mind me copying him by being digitally pasted into the picture, ‘cos little bruvvers often copy big bruvvers they admire.
Mr and Mrs Marshall and Milo
Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy
(actually it probably isn’t Percy – read Mom’s review to find out who it is likely to be!)

This is the last pic in my Arty Farty Week – I hope you’ve enjoyed them!
